The Pan-American Wushu Championships (PAWC) is an international wushu competition held every two years. It is sponsored by the Pan-American Wushu Federation, which is the official continental organization made up by 23 nations and is recognized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF).
Over the years, Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre has successfully placed its students on the Canadian National Wushu Team and participated in the PAWC.
2024 14th Pan-American Wushu Championships
Congratulates to all Canadian athletes that competed in the 2024 Pan-American Wushu Championships!
Dates: August 29th - September 2, 2024
Location: Santa Clara, California, United States
Key Achievements:
Nearly 60 members of the Canadian Wushu National Team competed in the championships, representing Canada among more than 1,000 athletes from 12 countries participating in the games
Wayland Li athletes won a total of 21 🥇gold medals, 19 🥈silver medals and 10 🥉bronze medals
